Counters at the MPG Ranch divided into three groups to watch 118 Raptors of twelve different species fly overhead. This is the largest count day so far on the ranch! Hopefully more migrants our on their way!

A bluebird day in the field resulted in the banding of four American Kestrels, and a steady flight of migrant raptors over the MPG ranch. Counters observed over 50 migratory raptors with 12 different species being represented, including all the members of the falcon family except the Gyr. This brings out season total to just over 650 migrants!
